Street stalls & entertainment

The main street of Stanthorpe will be packed with great entertainers, artisans, demonstrations and activities. Rug up and enjoy the on stage performers, winter markets and incredible ice sculpture challenge competition.
The whole family is invited to join in on the street pavement games, kids craft, the chalk art competition, and the snowman toss. And don’t forget to appreciate some of Stanthorpe’s latest winter fashions at the fashion parade.
After 5pm, join the lantern parade winding its way to Stanthorpe’s latest ‘big thing’ - the Big Thermometer. Enjoy the fireworks before seeking out the local restaurants and bars guaranteed to provide the warmest hospitality around.

Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!
Join in the fun on Saturday at the Stanthorpe Snowgrounds. The gates open at 9am and your ticket price includes a huge range of free activities including the star attraction, the snowfield. We also have toboggans for the kiddies to coax mum and dad into giving them a tow. We also have on stage entertainment, fashion parade, giant snowglobes, inflatable climbing wall, inflatable obstacle courses, enchanted forest, petting zoo, winter warmers, puppet show, kids workshops, sign on sheet and ‘snow’ much more.
Wander the winter markets, indulge in the international food fest and relax in the local wine and beer marquee. Toasted marshmallows and chestnuts, and everyone’s favourite - mulled wine - will be available all weekend.
The skating rink will be available until 7pm at an extra cost per session. The evening ends with fire twirlers and hula hoop spectacular.
Sunday Events
Showgrounds

On Sunday head back to the Stanthorpe Snowgrounds for more great activities. The Bushies Breakfast at 8am will start the day and include billy tea, damper and a BBQ breakfast.
The skating rink will be open from 9am and there will be plenty more snow! The inflatable climbing wall and new obstacle courses will be available for adventurous.
The market stalls will be open from 9am and all of the children’s activities will be back. On stage entertainment continues all day. As an added extra, the Stanthorpe Vintage Car and Machinery volunteers will have their cars and machines on show.
The day concludes at 2pm.
